Content can be unpublished at any time without being deleted. When a page is unpublished:

• It is removed from the public site — visitors see an access denied page
• It no longer appears in search results, listings, or filtered views
• It remains visible in the admin content dashboard under the Unpublished state
• It can be republished at any time

Un-publishing is the right action for ended events, expired funding opportunities, retired campaigns, or any content you may want to reinstate later. Only delete a page when the content must be permanently removed.
